Golf holidays
Stay on the fairway. Los Alcázares
An executive course on your doorstep, twelve more within thirty minutes, and 300+ playing days a year. The Costa Cálida is Europe's most underrated golf destination.
Why golfers come back
Murcia's Mar Menor area packs more golf into thirty minutes of driving than anywhere else in Spain. The reason is geography: flat coastal plain, mild winters, almost no rain. The reason people stay is that it's still a working Spanish town - not a built-up resort strip like the Costa del Sol.
From the apartment, the first tee of Serena Golf is a five-minute walk. La Manga Club's three championship courses are 25 minutes by car. Hacienda del Álamo - one of the best-conditioned courses in Spain - is 30. You can play a different course every day for a fortnight without checking out of your accommodation.
